Yaram'Yahu (Jeremiah) — 10
Idolatry Brings Destruction
Hear the Dabar that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH speaks to you, O Yashar'AL!
This is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar: “Do not act like the other nations, who try to read their future in the stars, Do not be afraid of their predictions, even though other nations are terrified by them.
Their ways are futile and foolish, they cut down a tree, and a craftsman carves an idol.
They decorate it with gold and silver and then fasten it securely with hammer and nails so it will not fall over.
Their idols are like helpless scarecrows in a cucumber field! They cannot speak, and they need to be carried because they cannot walk, Do not be afraid of such idol deities, for they can neither harm you nor do you any good.”
O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, there is no one like you! for You are great, and your Name is full of power.
Who would not fear you, O Ruler of nations? That title belongs to you alone! Among all the wise people of the Arath and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like You.
People who worship idols are stupid and foolish, The things they worship are made of wood!
They bring beaten sheets of silver from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz, and they give these materials to skillful craftsmen who make their idols, then they dress these idols in royal blue and purple robes made by expert tailors.
But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is the only true 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is the living 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH and the everlasting Ruler! The whole Arath trembles at the anger of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, The nations cannot stand up to the wrath of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.
Say this to those who worship other nations idols: “Your so-called deities, who did not make the Shamaym and the Arath, will vanish from the Arath and from under the Shamaym.”
But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH made the Arath by His power, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH preserves it by His wisdom, With His own understanding He stretched out the Shamaym.
When 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH speaks in the thunder, the Shamaym roar with rain, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH causes the clouds to rise over the Arath, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH sends the lightning with the rain and releases the wind from His storehouses.
The whole of man's race is foolish and has no knowledge! The craftsmen are dishonor by the idols they make, for their carefully shaped works are a fraud, these idols have no breath or power.
Idols are worthless; they are ridiculous lies! On the day of reckoning they will all be destroyed.
But the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of Yashar'AL is no idol! 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is the Creator of everything that exists, including Yashar'AL, His own special possession, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Tsaba'ut is His Name!
The Coming Destruction
Pack your bags and prepare to leave; the siege is about to begin.
For this is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar: “Suddenly, I will fling out all you who live in this land, I will pour great troubles upon you, and at last you will feel my anger.”
Woe to you for your hurt! for you will say to yourself, My wound is severe, and my grief is great, My sickness is incurable, but I must bear it.
My home is gone, and no one is left to help me rebuild it, my children have been taken away, and I will never see them again.
The shepherds of my people have lost their senses, they no longer seek wisdom from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, therefore, they fail completely, and their flocks are scattered.
Listen! Hear the terrifying roar of great armies as they roll down from the north, The towns of Yahudah will be destroyed and become a haunt for jackals.
Yaramyahu’s Prayer
I know 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, that our lives are not our own, we are not able to plan our own course.
So correct me 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, but please be gentle, do not correct me in anger, for I would die.
Pour out your wrath on the nations that refuse to acknowledge you and on the people that do not call upon your Name, For they have devoured your people Yashar'AL, they have devoured and consumed them, making the land a desolate wilderness.
