The Family of Yashar'AL 

1 These were the sons of Yashar'AL: Rauban, Simaun, Lauy, Yahudah, Issachar, Zabulun, 

2 Dan, Ya'asaf, Banyamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Ashar.

From Yahudah to Daud

3 The sons of Yahudah were Ar, Unan, and Shalah. These three were born to him by the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. Ar, the firstborn of Yahudah, was wicked in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH; and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH killed him. 

4 And Tamar, his daughter-in-law, bore him Paraz and Zarah. All the sons of Yahudah were five.

5 The sons of Paraz were Hazrun and Hamul.

6 The sons of Zarah were Zimri, Athan, Haman, Calcul, and Dara, five of them in all.

7 The son of Carmi was Achar, the troubler of Yashar'AL, who transgressed in the accursed thing.

8 The son of Athan was Azaryahu.

9 Also the sons of Hazrun who were born to him were Yarahmaal, Ram, and Chaaubai. 

10 Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshun, leader of the children of Yahudah; 

11 Nahshun begot Salma, and Salma begot Buaz; 

12 Buaz begot Ubad, and Ubad begot Yassa; 

13 Yassa begot Aliab his firstborn, Abinadab the second, Shima the third, 

14 Nathanal the fourth, Raddai the fifth, 

15 Uzam the sixth, and Daud the seventh.

16 Now their sisters were Zaruyahu and Abigail. And the sons of Zaruyahu were Abishai, Yuab, and Asahal, three. 

17 Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Yathar the Ishmaalite.

The Family of Hazrun

18 Calab the son of Hazrun had children by Azubah, his wife, and by Yariuth. Now these were her sons: Yashar, Shubab, and Ardun. 

19 When Azubah died, Calab took Aphrath as his wife, who bore him Hur. 

20 And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bazalal.

21 Now afterward Hazrun went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilaad, whom he married when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Sagub. 

22 Sagub begot Yair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilaad. 

23 (Gashur and Syria took from them the towns of Yair, with Kanath and its towns—sixty towns.) All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilaad. 

24 After Hazrun died in Calab Aphrathah, Hazrun’s wife Abiyahu bore him Ashhur the father of Takua.

The Family of Yarahmaal

25 The sons of Yarahmaal, the firstborn of Hazrun, were Ram, the firstborn, and Bunah, Uran, Uzam, and Ahiyahu. 

26 Yarahmaal had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Unam. 

27 The sons of Ram, the firstborn of Yarahmaal, were Maaz, Yamin, and Akar. 

28 The sons of Unam were Shammai and Yada. The sons of Shammai were Nadab and Abishur.

29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Mulid. 

30 The sons of Nadab were Salad and Appaim; Salad died without children. 

31 The son of Appaim was Ishi, the son of Ishi was Shashan, and Shashan’s son was Ahlai. 

32 The sons of Yada, the brother of Shammai, were Yathar and Yunathan; Yathar died without children. 

33 The sons of Yunathan were Palath and Zaza. These were the sons of Yarahaal.

34 Now Shashan had no sons, only daughters. And Shashan had a Mitzraym servant whose name was Yarha. 

35 Shashan gave his daughter to Yarha his servant as wife, and she bore him Attai. 

36 Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad; 

37 Zabad begot Aphlal, and Aphlal begot Ubad; 

38 Ubad begot Yahu, and Yahu begot Azaryahu; 

39 Azaryahu begot Halaz, and Halaz begot Alasah; 

40 Alaasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum; 

41 Shallum begot Yakamyahu, and Yakamyahu begot Alishama.

The Family of Calab

42 The descendants of Calab the brother of Yarahmaal were Masha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Marashah the father of Habrun. 

43 The sons of Habrun were Kurah, Tappuah, Rakam, and Shama. 

44 Shama begot Raham the father of Yurkuam, and Rakam begot Shammai. 

45 And the son of Shammai was Maun, and Maun was the father of Bath Zur.

46 Aphah, Calab’s concubine, bore Haran, Muza, and Gazaz; and Haran begot Gazaz. 

47 And the sons of Yahdai were Ragam, Yutham, Gashan, Palat, Aphah, and Shaaph.

48 Maachah, Calab’s concubine, bore Shabar and Tirhanah. 

49 She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Shaba the father of Machbanah and the father of Gibaa. And the daughter of Calab was Achsah.

50 These were the descendants of Calab: The sons of Hur, the firstborn of Aphrathah, were  Shubal the father of Kiryath Yaarym, 

51 Salma the father of Bathlaham, and  Haraph the father of Bath Gadar.

52 And Shubal the father of Kiryath Yaarim had descendants: Haruah, and half of the families of Manuhuth. 

53 The families of Kiryath Yaarym were the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites. From these came the Zurathites and the Ashtaulites.

54 The sons of Salma were Bathlaham, the Natuphathites, Atruth Bath Yuab, half of the Manahathites, and the Zurites.

55 And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Yabaz were the Tirathites, the Shimaathites, and the Suchathites. These were the Kanites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rachab.
