2nd Dabar-Hayamym (2 Chronicles) — 27

Yutham Reigns in Yahudah

Yutham was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Yahushalam. His mother’s name was Yarushah the daughter of Zaduk.

And he did what was right in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, according to all that his father Uzzyahu had done (although he did not enter the temple of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH). But still the people acted corruptly.

He built the Upper Gate of the house of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, and he built extensively on the wall of Uphal.

Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Yahudah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.

He also fought with the king of the Ammunites and defeated them. And the people of Ammun gave him in that year one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand kurs of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. The people of Ammun paid this to him in the second and third years also.

So Yutham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH  his 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH.

Now the rest of the acts of Yutham, and all his wars and his ways, indeed they are written in the book of the kings of Yashar'AL and Yahudah.

He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Yahushalam.

So Yutham rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of Daud. Then Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
