The Family Tree of King Shaul of Banyamin 

1 Now Banyamin begot Bala his firstborn, Ashbal the second, Aharah the third, 

2 Nuhah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth. 

3 The sons of Bala were Addar, Gara, Abihud, 

4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahuah, 

5 Gara, Shaphuphan, and Huram.

6 These are the sons of Ahud, who were the heads of the fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Gaba, and who forced them to move to Manahath: 

7 Naaman, Ahiyahu, and Gara who forced them to move. He begot Uzza and Ahihud.

8 Also Shaharaim had children in the country of Muab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives. 

9 By Hudash his wife he begot Yubab, Zibia, Masha, Malcam, 

10 Yauz, Sachyahu, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of their fathers’ houses.

11 And by Hushim he begot Abitub and Alpaal.

12 The sons of Alpaal were Abar, Misham, and Shamad, who built Unu and Lud with its towns; 

13 and Baryahu and Shama, who were heads of their fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Aiyalun, who drove out the inhabitants of Gath. 

14 Ahiu, Shashak, Yaramuth, 

15 Zabadyahu, Arad, Adar, 

16 Michaal, Ispah, and Yuha were the sons of Baryahu. 

17 Zabadyahu, Mashullam, Hizki, Habar, 

18 Ishmarai, Yizlyahu, and Yubab were the sons of Alpaal. 

19 Yakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 

20 Alianai, Zillathai, Alial, 

21 Adayahu, Barayahu, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimai. 

22 Ishpan, Abar, Alial, 

23 Abdun, Zichri, Hanan, 

24 Hananyahu, Alam, Antuthiyahu, 

25 Iphdayahu, and Panual were the sons of Shashak. 

26 Shamsharai, Shaharyahu, Athalyahu, 

27 Yaareshyahu, Aliyahu, and Zichri were the sons of Yaruham.

28 These were heads of the fathers’ houses by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Yahushalam.

29 Now the father of Gibaun, whose wife’s name was Maacah, dwelt at Gibaun. 

30 And his firstborn son was Abdun, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 

31 Gadur, Ahiu, Zachar, 

32 and Mikluth, who begot Shimaah. They also dwelt alongside their relatives in Yahushalam, with their brethren. 

33 Nar begot Kish, Kish begot Shaul, and Shaul begot Yunathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Ash-Baal. 

34 The son of Yunathan was Marib-Baal, and Marib-Baal begot Micah. 

35 The sons of Micah were Pithun, Malach, Taraa, and Ahaz. 

36 And Ahaz begot Yahuaddah; Yahuaddah begot Alamath, Azmabath, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Muza. 

37 Muza begot Binaa, Raphah his son, Alaasah his son, and Azal his son.

38 Azal had six sons whose names were these: Azrikam, Bucharu, Ishmaal, Shaaryahu, Ubadyahu, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azal. 

39 And the sons of Ashak his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Yaush the second, and Aliphalat the third.

40 The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers. They had many sons and grandsons, one hundred and fifty in all. These were all sons of Banyamin.
