AliYahu Taken into Shamaym
When 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH was about to take AliYahu up to Shamaym in a whirlwind, AliYahu and Alysha were traveling from Gilgal.
And AliYahu said to Alysha, “Stay here, for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has told me to go to Bathal.”
But Alysha replied, “As surely as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bathal.
The group of Nabym (prophets) from Bathal came to Alysha and asked him, “Did you know that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is going to take your master away from you today? “Of course I know,” Alysha answered. “But be quiet about it.”
Then AliYahu said to Alysha, “Stay here, for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has told me to go to Yarichu.” But Alysha replied again, “As surely as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you.” So they went on together to Yarichu.
Then the group of Nabym from Yarichu came to Alysha and asked him, “Did you know that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is going to take your master away from you today? “Of course I know,” Alysha answered. “But be quiet about it.”
Then AliYahu said to Alysha, “Stay here, for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has told me to go to the Yurdan River.” But again Alysha replied, “As surely as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you.” So they went on together.
Fifty men from the group of Nabym also went and watched from a distance as AliYahu and Alysha stopped beside the Yurdan River.
Then AliYahu folded his cloak together and struck the water with it. The river divided, and the two of them went across on dry ground!
When they came to the other side, AliYahu said to Alysha, “Tell me what I can do for you before I am taken away.” And Alysha replied, “Please let me inherit a double share of your Ruach and become your successor.”
“You have asked a difficult thing,” AliYahu replied. “If you see me when I am taken from you, then you will get your request. But if not, then you won’t.”
As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a chariot of fire appeared, drawn by horses of fire. It drove between the two men, separating them, and AliYahu was carried by a whirlwind into Shamaym.
Alysha saw it and cried out, “My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Yashar'AL!” And as they disappeared from sight, Alysha tore his clothes in distress.
Alysha picked up AliYahu’s cloak, which had fallen when AliYahu was taken up. Then Alysha returned to the bank of the Yurdan River.
He struck the water with AliYahu’s cloak and cried out, “Where is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of AliYahu?” Then the river divided, and Alysha went across.
When the group of Nabym from Yarichu saw from a distance what happened, they exclaimed, AliYahu’s ruach rests upon Alysha!” And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.
“Sir,” they said, “just say the word and fifty of our strongest men will search the wilderness for your master. Perhaps the Ruach of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has left him on some mountain or in some valley.” No,” Alysha said, “don’t send them.”
But they kept urging him until they shamed him into agreeing, and he finally said, “All right, send them.” So fifty men searched for three days but did not find AliYahu.
Alysha was still at Yarichu when they returned. “Did I not tell you not to go?” he asked.
Alysha's First Miracles
One day the leaders of the town of Yarichu visited Alysha. “We have a problem, my master,” they told him. “This town is located in pleasant surroundings, as you can see. But the water is bad, and the land is unproductive.”
And Alysha said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought bowl and salt to Alysha.
Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH: ‘I have healed this water; from this water there shall be no more death or barrenness.’ ”
So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Alysha which he spoke.
Alysha left Yarichu and went up to Bathal. As he was walking along the road, a group of boys from the town began mocking and making fun of him. “Go away, baldy!” they chanted. “Go away, baldy!”
Alysha turned around and looked at them, and he cursed them in the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of them.
From there Alysha went to Mount Carmel and finally returned to Samaria.
