Dabarym (Deuteronomy) — 18
Gifts for the Kuhanhood and Lauym
“Remember that the Lauym and the Kuhanym, that is, the whole tribe of Lauy, will receive no allotment of land among the other tribes in Yashar'AL. Instead, the Kuhanhood and Lauym will eat from the special gifts given to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, for that is their share.
They will have no land of their own among the Yasharalym. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Himself is their special possession, just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH promised them.
“These are the parts the Kuhanym may claim as their share from the cattle, sheep, and goats that the people bring as offerings: the shoulder, the cheeks, and the stomach.
You must also give to the Kuhanym the first share of the grain, the new wine, the olive oil, and the wool at shearing time.
“𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH chose the tribe of Lauy out of all your tribes to minister in the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH forever.
“Suppose a Lauym chooses to move from his town in Yashar'AL, wherever he is living, to the place 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH chooses for worship.
He may minister there in the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH his 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH, just like all his fellow Lauym who are serving 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH there.
He may eat his share of the sacrifices and offerings, even if he also receives support from his family.
A Call to Qadash Living
When you enter the land 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there.
For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft,
or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead.
Anyone who does these things is detestable to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. It is because the other nations has done these detestable things that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH will drive them out ahead of you.
But you must be blameless before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH.
The nations you are about to displace consult sorcerers and fortune tellers, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH forbids you to do such things.”
True and False Nabym (Prophets)
For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH will raise up for you a Nabym like me from among your fellow Yasharalym. You must listen to him.
For this is what you yourselves requested of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH when you were assembled at Mount Sinai. You said, ‘Do not let us hear the voice of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH our 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH anymore or see this blazing fire, for we will die.’
“Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar to me, ‘What they have said is right.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar, will raise up a Nabym like you Musha from among their fellow Yasharalym. I will put my Dabar in his mouth, and he will tell the people everything I command him.
I will personally deal with anyone who will not listen to the messages the Nabym proclaims on my behalf.
But any Nabym who falsely claims to speak in my Name or who speaks in the name of other mighty ones, must die.’
“But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a Nabym is from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH?’
If the Nabym speaks in the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH did not give that message. That Nabym has spoken without the authority of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, and need not be feared.
