Shamuth (Exodus) — 11
Death for Mitzraym Firstborn
11 Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar to Musha, “I will strike Phar'uh and the land of Mitzraym with one more blow. After that, Phar'uh will let you leave this country. In fact, he will be so eager to get rid of you that he will force you all to leave.
2 Tell all the Yasharalym men and women to ask their Mitzraym neighbors for articles of silver and gold.”
3 (Now 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH had caused the Mitzraym to look favorably on the people of Yashar'AL. And Musha was considered a very great man in the land of Mitzraym, respected by Pharuh’s officials and the Mitzraym people alike.)
4 Musha had announced to Pharuh, “This is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar: At midnight tonight I will pass through the heart of Mitzraym.
5 All the firstborn sons will die in every family in Mitzraym, from the oldest son of Pharuh, who sits on his throne, to the oldest son of his lowliest maidservant who grinds the flour. Even the firstborn of all the livestock will die.
6 Then a loud wail will rise throughout the land of Mitzraym, a wail like no one has heard before or will ever hear again.
7 But among the Yasharalym it will be so Shalum that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH makes a distinction between the Mitzraym and the Yasharalym.
8 All the officials of Mitzraym will run to me and fall to the ground before me. ‘Please leave!’ they will beg. ‘Hurry! And take all your followers with you.’ Only then will I go!” Then, burning with anger, Musha left Phar'uh.
9 Now 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH had told Musha earlier, “Pharuh will not listen to you, but then I will do even more mighty miracles in the land of Mitzraym.”
10 Musha and Aarun performed these miracles in Pharuh’s presence, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH hardened Pharuh’s heart, and he wouldn’t let the Yasharalym leave the country.
