Shamuth (Exodus) — 6
Promises of Deliverance
Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar to Musha, “Now you will see what I will do to Phar'uh. When he feels the force of my strong hand, he will let the people go. In fact, he will force them to leave his land!”
And 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH Dabar to Musha, “I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.’
I appeared to Abraham, to Yachaq and to Ya'aqub as AL-Shaddah, ‘𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH (AL'Mighty ONE)’ but I did not reveal my Name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 YAHUAH to them.
And I reaffirmed my covenant with them. Under its terms, I promised to give them the land of Canaan, where they were living as foreigners.
You can be sure that I have heard the groans of the people of Yashar'AL, who are now slaves to the Mitzraym and I am well aware of my covenant with them.
“Therefore, say to the people of Yashar'AL: ‘I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. I will free you from your oppression and will rescue you from your slavery in Mitzraym. I will redeem you with a powerful arm and great acts of judgment.
I will claim you as my own people and I will be your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH. Then you will know that I AM 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH your 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH who has freed you from your oppression in Mitzraym.
I will bring you into the land I swore to give to Abraham, Yachaq, and Ya'aqub. I will give it to you as your very own possession, I AM 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH
So Musha told the people of Yashar'AL what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH had Dabar, but they refused to listen anymore, They had become too discouraged by the brutality of their slavery.
Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar to Musha,
“Go back to Pharuh, the king of Mitzraym, and tell him to let the people of Yashar'AL leave his country.”
“But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH!” Musha objected. “My own people won’t listen to me anymore. How can I expect Phar'uh to listen? I’m such a clumsy speaker!”
But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH spoke to Musha and Aarun and gave them orders for the Yasharalym and for Pharuh, the king of Mitzraym, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH commanded Musha and Aarun to lead the people of Yashar'AL out of Mitzraym.
The Ancestors of Musha and Aarun
These are the ancestors of some of the clans of Yashar'AL: The sons of Rauban, Yashar'AL’s oldest son, were Hanuch, Pallu, Hazrun and Carmi. Their descendants became the clans of Rauban.
The sons of Simaun were Yamual, Yamin, Uhad, Yakin, Zuhar and Shaul. (Shaul’s mother was a Canaanite woman.) Their descendants became the clans of Simaun.
These are the descendants of La'uy, as listed in their family records: The sons of La'uy were Garshum, Kuhath and Marari. (La'uy lived to be 137 years old.)
The descendants of Garshum included Libni and Shimai, each of whom became the ancestor of a clan.
The descendants of Kuhath included Amram, Izhar, Habrun and Uzzial. (Kuhath lived to be 133 years old.)
The descendants of Marari included Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Lauym, as listed in their family records.
Amram married his father’s sister Yuchabad and she gave birth to his sons, Aarun and Musha. (Amram lived to be 137 years old.)
The sons of Izhar were Kurah, Naphag and Zicri.
The sons of Uzzial were Mishaal, Alzaphan, and Sithri.
Aarun married Alishaba, the daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshun and she gave birth to his sons, Nadab, Abihu, Aleazar, and Ithamar.
The sons of Kurah were Assir, Alkanah and Abiasaph. Their descendants became the clans of Kurah.
Aleazar son of Aarun married one of the daughters of Putial, and she gave birth to his son, Phinahas. These are the ancestors of the Lauym (Levite) families, listed according to their clans.
The Aarun and Musha named in this list are the same ones to whom 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH said, Lead the people of Yashar'AL out of the land of Mitzraym like an army.”
It was Musha and Aarun who spoke to Phar'uh, the king of Mitzraym, about leading the people of Yashar'AL out of Mitzraym.
When 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH spoke to Musha in the land of Mitzraym,
For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH said to Musha, “I AM 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH! Tell Phar'uh the king of Mitzraym everything I am telling you.”
But Musha argued with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, saying, “I can’t do it! I am such a clumsy speaker! Why should Phar'uh listen to me?”
