Ya'asaf in Mitzraym prison

And Ya'aqub dwelt in the land of his father's sojourning in the land of Kana'an. These are the generations of Ya'aqub.

And Ya'asaf was seventeen years old when they took him down into the land of Mitsrayim, and Putiyphar, a eunuch of Phar'uh, the chief cook bought him.

And he set Ya'asaf over all his house and the Barakah of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH came upon the house of the Mitsriy on account of Ya'asaf, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH prospered Ya'asaf in all that he did.

And the Mitsriy committed everything into the hands of Ya'asaf; for he saw that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH was with Ya'asaf, and that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH prospered him in all that he did.

And Ya'asaf's appearance was comely and very beautiful was his appearance, and his master's woman lifted up her eyes and saw Ya'asaf, and she loved him and besought him to lie with her.

But Ya'asaf did not surrender his soul and he remembered 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH and the words which Ya'aqub his father, used to read from amongst the words of Abraham, that no man should commit fornication with a woman who has a man; that for him the punishment of death has been ordained in the Shamaym before AL'ALYUN, and the sin will be recorded against him in the eternal Shaparym (books) continually before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH

And Ya'asaf remembered these words and refused to lie with her.

And she besought Ya'asaf for a year, but he refused and would not listen.

But she embraced Ya'asaf and held him fast in the house in order to force him to lie with her and closed the doors of the house and held him fast; but Ya'asaf left his garment in her hands and broke through the door and fled from her presence.

And the woman saw that Ya'asaf would not lie with her and she bore false witness on him in the presence of his master, saying: Your Abarym (Hebrew) servant, whom you love, sought to force me so that he might lie with me; and it came to pass when I lifted up my voice that he fled and left his garment in my hands when I held him, and he broke through the door.

And the Mitsriy saw the garment of Ya'asaf and the broken door and Putiphar heard the words of his woman, then he cast Ya'asaf into prison, the place where the prisoners were kept whom the king imprisoned.

And Ya'asaf was there in the prison; and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH gave Ya'asaf favor in the sight of the chief of the prison guards and compassion before him, for the prison chief saw that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH was with Ya'asaf, and that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH made all that he did to prosper.

And the prison chief committed all things into Ya'asaf's hands and the chief of the prison guards knew of nothing that was with him, for Ya'asaf did everything and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH perfected it.

And Ya'asaf remained there two years. And in those days Phar'uh, king of Mitsrayim was wroth against his two eunuchs, against the chief butler and against the chief baker, and he put them in ward in the house of the chief cook, in the prison where Ya'asaf was kept.

And the chief of the prison guards appointed Ya'asaf to serve them; and he served before them.

And they both dreamed a dream, the chief butler and the chief baker and they told it to Ya'asaf.

And as Ya'asaf interpreted to them, so it befell them and Phar'uh restored the chief butler to his office and the chief baker he slew, as Ya'asaf had interpreted to them.

But the chief butler forgot Ya'asaf in the prison, although he had informed him what would befall him and did not remember to inform Phar'uh how Ya'asaf had told him, for he forgot.
