Yubalym (Jubilee) — 13
And Abram journeyed from Haran, and he took Sarai, his woman, and Lut, his brother Haran's son, to the land of Kana'an, and he came into Ashshur, and proceeded to Shakam, and dwelt near a lofty oak.
And Abram saw, and behold, the land was very pleasant from the entering of Chamath to the lofty oak.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar to Abram: To you and to your seed will I give this land.
And Abram built an altar there, and he offered thereon an ascending smoke sacrifice to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, who had appeared to him.
And he removed from thence unto the mountain. Bayt-al on the west and Ai on the east and pitched his tent there.
And Abram saw and behold, the land was very wide and good, and everything grew thereon vines and figs and pomegranates, oaks and ilexes, and terebinths and oil trees, and cedars and cypresses and date trees, and all trees of the field, and there was water on the mountains.
And Abram Baraked 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH who had led him out of Ur of the Kasdym and had brought him to this land.
And it came to pass in the first year, in the seventh week, on the New Moon of the first month, that Abram built an altar on this mountain, and called on the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH the eternal 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH, my 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH.
And Abram offered on the altar an ascending smoke sacrifice unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH that he should be with him and not forsake him all the days of his life.
And Abram removed from thence and went towards the Nagab, and he came to Chabrun and Chabrun was built at that time, and he dwelt there two years, and he went thence into the land of the Nagab, to Ba'aluth, and there was a famine in the land.
And Abram went into Mitzraym in the third year of the week, and he dwelt in Mitzraym five years before his woman was torn away from him.
Now Tanais in Mitzraym was at that time built seven years after Chabrun.
And it came to pass when Phar'uh seized Sarai, the woman of Abram that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH plagued Phar'uh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's woman.
And Abram was very wealthy by reason of possessions in sheep, and cattle, and asses, and horses, and camels, and menservants, and maidservants, and in silver and gold exceedingly. And Lut also his brother's son, was wealthy.
And Phar'uh gave back Sarai, the woman of Abram, and he sent him out of the land of Mitzraym, and Abram journeyed to the place where he had pitched his tent at the beginning, to the place of the altar, with Ai on the east, and Bayt-al on the west, and he Baraked 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH his 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH who had brought him back in Shalum.
And it came to pass in the forty first Yubalym in the third year of the first week, that he returned to this place and offered thereon an ascending smoke sacrifice, and called on the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, and said: You, AL'ALYUN, are my 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH forever and ever.
And in the fourth year of this week Lut parted from Abram, and Lut dwelt in Sadum, and the men of Sadum were sinners exceedingly.
And it grieved Abram in his heart that his brother's son had parted from him; for he had no children.
In that year when Lut was taken captive, 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH said unto Abram, after that Lut had parted from him, in the fourth year of this week: Lift up your eyes from the place where you are dwelling, northward and southward, and westward and eastward.
For all the land which you see I will give to you and to your seed forever, and I will make your seed as the sand of the Yam (sea): though a man may number the dust of the Arath, yet your seed shall not be numbered.
Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and the breadth of it, and see it all; for to your seed will I give it. And Abram went to Habrun and dwelt there.
And in this year came Kadurla'umar, king of Aylam, and Amraphal, king of Shin'ar, and Aryuk king of Allacar, and Tid'al, king of Nations, and slew the king of Amurah, and the king of Sadum fled, and many fell through wounds in the valley of Siddiym, by the Salt Sea.
And they took captive Sadum and A'dam and Tsabym, and they took captive Lut also, the son of Abram's brother, and all his possessions, and they went to Dan.
And one who had escaped came and told Abram that his brother's son had been taken captive and Abram armed his household servants;
….for Abram, and for his seed, a tenth of the first fruits to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, and 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH ordained it as an ordinance forever that they should give it to the Kuhanym (priests) who served before him, that they should possess it forever.
And to this Turah there is no limit of days; for 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH has ordained it for the generations forever that they should give to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH the tenth of everything, of the seed and of the wine and of the oil and of the cattle and of the sheep.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH gave it unto His Kuhanym (priests) to eat and to drink with joy before him.
And the king of Sadum came to Abram and bowed himself before him, and said: Our master Abram, give unto us the souls which you have rescued, but let the booty be yours.
And Abram said unto him: I lift up my hands to AL'ALYUN, that from a thread to a shoe latchet I shall not take anything that is yours lest you should say, I have made Abram rich; save only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me Anar, Ashkul, and Mamra. These shall take their portion.
