1st Kafa (1 Peter) — 5
Advice for Elders and Young Men
1 And now, a word to you who are elders in the Qadash Assembly. I am also an elder and a witness to the sufferings of Ha'Mashyach. And I will also share in the Kabad of Ha'Mashyach when He is revealed to the whole world. As a fellow elder, I appeal to you:
2 Care for the flock that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly, not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.
3 Do not be like a ruler over those you are responsible for. But be good examples to them.
4 And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never ending Kabad and honor.
5 In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH resist and opposes the proud but gives favor to the humble.”
6 So humble yourselves under the mighty power of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, and at the right time 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will lift you up in honor.
7 Give all your worries and cares to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH cares about you.
8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, ha'shatan, he moves around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
9 Stand firm against ha'shatan, and be strong in your Amunah. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are going through.
10 Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will make everything right. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will make you strong. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will support you and keep you from falling. For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH who gives all favor. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH chose you to share in HIS Kabad in Ha'Mashyach. That Kabad will continue forever.
11 All power to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH forever! So it will be.
Kafa’s Final Greetings
12 Through Silvanus, whom I regard as a dear brother, I have written this short letter to encourage you and to testify that this is to be the true favor of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH in which you are to stand firm!
13 The Qadash Assembly here in Babylun sends you greetings, and so does my son Mark.
14 Greet each other with a kiss of love. Shalum be with all of you who are in Ha'Mashyach.
