Romans — 5
Amunah Brings Joy
Therefore, since we have been made right in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s sight by Amunah, we have Shalum with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH because of what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach our Master has done for us.
Because of our Amunah, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s Kabad.
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.
And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH loves us, because HE has given us the RUACH Ha'Qadash to fill our hearts with His Ahaba (love).
When we were utterly helpless, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good.
But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH showed His great ahaba (love) for us by sending 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA to die for us while we were still sinners.
And since we have been made right in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH by the blood of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach, our MASTER will certainly save us from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s condemnation.
For since our friendship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH was restored by the death of His Son while we were still HIS enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of the Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.
So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH because our Savior 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach has made us friends of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.
Adam and Mashyach Contrasted
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break.
Still, everyone died, from the time of Adam to the time of Musha, even those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, as Adam did. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Ha'Mashyach, who was yet to come.
But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and the merciful gift of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is the wonderful favor of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH and HIS gift of forgiveness to many through this other Man, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach.
And the result of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s wonderful gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s free gift leads to our being made right with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, even though we are guilty of many sins.
For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s wonderful favor and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH‘s gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach.
Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Ha'Mashyach’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH and new life for everyone.
For because one man disobeyed 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, many became sinners. But because one other Man obeyed 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, many will be made righteous.
For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s law was given so that all mankind could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s wonderful favor became more abundant.
So just as sin ruled over all men and brought them to death, now 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s wonderful favor rules instead, giving us right standing with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH and resulting in eternal life through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach our Master and Savior.
