Romans — 2
YAHUAH’s Judgment of Sin
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
And we know that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, in HIS justice, will punish anyone who does such things.
Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s judgment when you do the same things?
Do you not see how wonderfully kind, and tolerant, and patient 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can you not see that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH‘s kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?
But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will judge everyone according to what they have done.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the Kabad and honor and immortality that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH offers.
For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will pour out HIS anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the Truth and instead live lives of wickedness.
There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil, for the Yahudym first and also for the other nations.
But there will be Kabad and honor and Shalum from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH for all who do good, for the Yahudym first and also for the other nations.
For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH does not show favoritism.
When the other nations sin, they will be destroyed, even though they never had 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s written law. And the Yahudym, who do have 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s Turah (law), will be judged by that law when they fail to obey it.
For merely listening to the law does not make us right with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. It is obeying the Turah (law) that makes us right in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH‘s sight.
for when the other nations, who do not have the Turah (law), by nature do the things in the Turah, these, although not having the Turah, are a Turah (law) to themselves,
They demonstrate that the law of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.
This is the message I proclaim, that the day is coming when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach, will judge everyone’s secret life.
The Yahudym and the Law
You who call yourselves Yahudym are relying on 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s Turah (law), and you boast about your special relationship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.
You know what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH wants; you know what is right because you have been taught 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH‘s law.
You are convinced that you are a guide for the blind and a light for people who are lost in darkness.
You think you can instruct the ignorant and teach children the ways of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. For you are certain that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s law gives you complete knowledge and Truth.
Well then, if you teach others, why do you not teach yourself? You tell others not to steal, but do you steal?
You say it is wrong to commit adultery, but do you commit adultery? You condemn idolatry, but do you use items stolen from pagan temples?
You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH by breaking it.
No wonder the Scriptures say, “The other nations blaspheme the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH because of you.”
The Yahudym ceremony of circumcision has value only if you obey the Turah (Law) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. But if you do not obey Turah of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, you are no better off than an uncircumcised man of the other nations.
Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will that not make an uncircumcised man be counted as circumcision?
The man who is uncircumcised physically but he keeps the Law will condemn you who break the Law, even though you have the written Law and you are circumcised.
For you are not a true Yahudym just because you were born of Yahudym parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision.
No, a true Yahudym is one whose heart is right with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Ruach. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, not from men.
