Yahukanun (John) — 3

YAHUSHA and Nicudamus

1 There was a man named Nicudamus, a Yahudym religious leader who was a Pharisee.
After dark one evening, Nicudamus came to speak with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is with you.”
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.”
“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicudamus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH without being born of water and the RUACH.
What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the RUACH is Ruach.
So do not be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’
The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going, so is everyone who is born of the Ruach.”
“How are these things possible?” Nicudamus asked.
10 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA replied, “You are a respected Yahudym teacher, and yet you do not understand these things?
11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our testimony.
12 But if you do not believe me when I tell you things about this Arath, how can you possibly believe me if I tell you things about Shamaym?
13 No one has ever gone to Shamaym and returned. But the Son of Adam has come down from Shamaym.
14 And as Musha lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Adam must be lifted up,
15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.
16 “For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH loved the world that He created: and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH gave His one and only dear Son, so that everyone who believes in the Son of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will not perish but have Everlasting life.
17 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through His Son.
18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in the Son of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. But anyone who does not believe in the Son of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has already been judged for not believing in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s One and only Son.
19 And the judgment is based on this fact: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil.
20 All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near the  light, for they fear their sins will be exposed if they come near  the light.
21 But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH wants.”

Yahukanun the Baptist Exalts YAHUSHA

22 Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA and his Talmidym left Yahushalam and went into the Yahudah countryside.  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA spent some time with them there, baptizing people.
23 At this time Yahukanun the Baptist was baptizing at Aanun, near Salim, because there was plenty of water there; and people kept coming to him for baptism.
24 (This was before Yahukanun was thrown into prison.)
25 A debate broke out between Yahukanun’s followers and a certain Yahudym over ceremonial cleansing.
26 So Yahukanun’s followers came to him and said, “Rabbi, the man you met on the other side of the Yurdan River, the one you identified as Ha'Mashyach, is also baptizing people. And everybody is going to him instead of coming to us.”
27 Yahukanun replied, “No one can receive anything unless 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH gives it from Shamaym.
28 You yourselves know how plainly I told you, ‘I am not Ha'Mashyach. I am only here to prepare the way for Ha'Mashyach.’
29 It is the bridegroom who marries the bride, and the best man is simply glad to stand with him and hear His vows. Therefore, I am filled with joy at His success.
30 Ha'Mashyach must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.
31 “For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA has come from above and is greater than anyone else. We are of the Arath, and we speak things of the Arath, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA has come from Shamaym and is greater than anyone else.
32 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA testifies about what He has seen and heard, but how few believe what He tells them!
33 Anyone who accepts the testimony of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA can affirm that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH is true.
34 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA is sent by  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. And  He speaks the Dabar of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, for  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH gives  Him the RUACH without limit.
35 For ABBA loves his Son and has put everything into His hands.
36 And anyone who believes in the son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH has eternal life. Anyone who does not obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s angry judgment.”
