Yahukanun (John) — 1
Ha'Mashyach, the Eternal Dabar
1 In the beginning the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar already existed, The 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar was with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, and the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar was 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH.
2 The 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar existed in the beginning with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.
3 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH created everything through the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar, and nothing was created except through the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar.
4 In the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 The light of the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish the Light.
6 There was a man sent from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, whose name was Yahukanun.
7 to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony.
8 Yahukanun himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light.
9 The one who is the true light, who will give light to everyone, is on his way coming into the world.
10 The 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar came into the very world He created, but the world did not recognize Him.
11 The 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar came to His own people, and they rejected him.
12 But as many who received the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar, to them the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar gave the right to become children of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, to those who believe in His Name:
13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.
14 So the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar became a man and made his home among us. The 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar‘s Kabad, the Kabad of ABBA’s one and only Son.
15 Yahukanun testified about the 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉_Dabar when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for He existed long before me.’”
16 From His abundance we have all received one precious Barakah after another.
17 For the law was given through Musha, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA Ha'Mashyach.
18 No one has ever seen 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. But the unique One, who is himself 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH, is near to ABBA’s heart, He has revealed 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH to us.
The Testimony of Yahukanun the Baptist
19 This was Yahukanun’s testimony when the Yahudym leaders sent Kuhanym and Temple assistants from Yahushalam to ask Yahukanun, “Who are you?”
20 He came right out and said, “I am not Ha'Mashyach.”
21 “Well then, who are you?” they asked. “Are you AliYahu? “No,” he replied.
“Are you the Nabym we are expecting? “No.”
22 “Then who are you? We need an answer for those who sent us. What do you have to say about yourself?”
23 Yahukanun replied in the words of the Nabym Yashayahu:
“I am a voice shouting in the wilderness, ‘Clear the way for Ha'Mashyach’s coming!’”
24 Then the Pharisees who had been sent 25 asked him, “If you are not Ha'Mashyach or AliYahu or the Nabym, what right do you have to baptize?”
26 Yahukanun told them, “I baptize with water, but right here in the crowd is someone you do not recognize.
27 Though His ministry follows mine, I am not even worthy to be His slave and untie the straps of his sandal.”
28 This encounter took place in Bathany, an area east of the Yurdan River, where Yahukanun was baptizing.
YAHUSHA the Lamb of YAHUAH
29 The next day Yahukanun saw YAHUSHA coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH who takes away the sin of the world!
30 He is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘A man is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for He existed long before me.’
31 I did not know who Ha'Mashyach was. But I came baptizing people with water so that Yashar'AL could know that He is Ha'Mashyach.”
32 Then Yahukanun testified, “I saw the RUACH Ha'Qadash descending like a dove from Shamaym and resting upon Ha'Mashyach.
33 I did not know Ha'Mashyach was the one, but when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH sent me to baptize with water, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar to me, ‘The one on whom you see the RUACH descend and rest is the one who will baptize with the RUACH Ha'Qadash.’
34 I saw this happen to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA, so I Yahukanun testify that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA is the Chosen One of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.”
35 The following day Yahukanun was again standing with two of his followers.
36 As 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA walked by, Yahukanun looked at Him and declared, “Look! There is the Lamb of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH!”
37 When Yahukanun’s two Talmidym heard this, they followed 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA.
38 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA looked around and saw them following. “What do you want?” 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA asked them. They replied, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?”
39 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA was staying, and they remained with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA that day (now it was about the tenth hour).
40 Andraw, Simun Kafa’s brother, was one of these men who heard what Yahukanun said and then followed 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA.
41 Andraw went to find his brother, Simun, and told him, “We have found Ha'Mashyach” (which means “Messiah”).
42 Then Andraw brought Simun to meet 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA. Looking intently at Simun, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA said, “Your name is Simun Ba-Yunah, but you will be called Kafa”. (which means “A Rock”).
43 The next day 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA decided to go to Galily. He found Philip and said to him, “Come, follow me.”
44 Philip was from Bathsaida, Andraw and Kafa’s hometown.
45 Philip went to look for Nathanaal and told him, “We have found the very person Musha and the Nabyms wrote about! His Name is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA, the son of Ya'asaf from Nazarath.”
46 “Nazarath!” exclaimed Nathanaal. “Can anything good come from Nazarath?”
“Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied.
47 As they approached, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA said, “Now here is a genuine son of Yashar'AL, a man of complete integrity.”
48 “How do you know about me?” Nathanaal asked. Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA replied, “I could see you under the fig tree before Philip found you.”
49 Then Nathanaal exclaimed, “Rabbi, you are the Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, the King of Yashar'AL!”
50 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA asked him, “Do you believe this just because I told you I had seen you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.”
51 Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏_YAHUSHA said, “Truly I tell all of you. You will all see Shamaym open and the Malakym of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH going up and down on the Son of Adam, the one who is the stairway between Shamaym and Arath.”
