1st Book of Àzrah — 7

The Temple Is Dedicated

1 Then Sisinnas the governor of Cualasyria and Phuanicia, and Sathrabuzanas, and their associates, following the orders of King Darius, 

2 They supervised the qadash work with very great care, assisting the elders of the Yahudym and the chief officers of the temple. 

3 And the qadash work prospered, while the Nabyms Haggai and Zacharyahu prophesied; 

4 and they completed it by the command of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of Yashar'AL. So with the consent of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxarxas, kings of the Parsians, 

5 the Qadash house was finished by the twenty-third day of the month of Adar, in the sixth year of King Darius. 

6 And the people of Yashar'AL, the Kuhanym, the Lauym, and the rest of those from the captivity who joined them, did according to what was written in the Turah. 

7 They offered at the dedication of the temple of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH one hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, 

8 and twelve he-goats for the sin of all Yashar'AL, according to the number of the twelve leaders of the tribes of Yashar'AL; 

9 and the Kuhanym and the Lauym stood arrayed in their garments, according to kindred, for the services of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of Yashar'AL in accordance with the Turah; and the gatekeepers were at each gate.

The Passakh 

10 The people of Yashar'AL who came from the captivity kept the Passakh (passover) on the fourteenth day of the first month, after the Kuhanym and the Lauym were purified together. 

11 Not all of the returned captives were purified, but the Lauym were all purified together, 

12 and they sacrificed the Passakh lamb for all the returned captives and for their brethren the Kuhanym and for themselves. 

13 And the people of Yashar'AL who came from the captivity ate it, all those who had separated themselves from the abominations of the people of the land and sought 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH. 

14 And they kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days, rejoicing before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, 

15 Because 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH had changed the will of the king of the Assyrians concerning them, to strengthen their hands for the service of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of Yashar'AL.
