TubiYahu (Tobit) — 9
The Money Recovered
1 Then Tubiyas called Rapha'AL the Malak and said to him,
2 “Brother Azaryahu, take four servants and two camels with you and travel to Rages. Go to the home of Gaba'al, give him the bond, get the money, and then bring him with you to the wedding celebration.
4 For you know that my father must be counting the days, and if I delay even one day I will upset him very much.
3 You are witness to the oath Ragual has sworn, and I cannot violate his oath.”
5 So Raphy'AL with the four servants and two camels went to Rages in Madia and stayed with Gaba'al. Raphy'AL gave him the bond and informed him that Tubiyahu’s son Tubiyas had married and was inviting him to the wedding celebration. So Gaba'al got up and counted out to him the money bags, with their seals intact; then they loaded them on the camels.
6 In the morning they both got up early and went to the wedding celebration. When they came into Ragual’s house they found Tubiyas reclining at table. He sprang up and greeted Gaba'al, who wept and baraked him with the words, “Good and noble son of a good and noble father, upright and generous! May 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH grant the Barakah of Shamaym to you and your wife, and to your wife’s father and mother. Baraked be 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH for I see in Tubiyas the very image of my cousin Tubiyahu.”
